Wick Maintenance
The First Burn: For your very first light, allow the wax to melt to the edges of the vessel (this usually takes 2–3 hours). Once you have a nice melt pool, extinguish the flame, let the wax solidify completely, and trim your wick before lighting it again.
Frequent Trimming: Because our dessert candles often feature whipped wax, embeds, or decorative toppings, they may consume wax differently than standard candles. If you notice a high flame or flickering, your wick needs a trim! We recommend checking your wick before every burn to keep the flame controlled.
