Candle Kare

Our dessert candles are designed as special novelty pieces. Because of their unique shapes, decorations, and vessels, they require a little extra "TLC" to ensure you get the best burn safely.

Safety First

Burn Time: To prevent overheating and potential spills, please do not burn your candle for more than 2 hours at a time.

The "Catch-All": Always place your candle on a heat-safe plate or tray. Because of the extra decorations and potential for wax overflow, this plate will catch any wax that may drip down the sides of the vessel.

Hot Vessels: If the vessel starts to feel too hot to touch, extinguish your candle immediately. This typically happens when the wax level is very low.

Wick Maintenance

The First Burn: For your very first light, allow the wax to melt to the edges of the vessel (this usually takes 2–3 hours). Once you have a nice melt pool, extinguish the flame, let the wax solidify completely, and trim your wick before lighting it again.

Frequent Trimming: Because our dessert candles often feature whipped wax, embeds, or decorative toppings, they may consume wax differently than standard candles. If you notice a high flame or flickering, your wick needs a trim! We recommend checking your wick before every burn to keep the flame controlled.
